“Site Engineering requires knowledge in several different disciplines, including several I had little experience in when I first started here. Through internal training sessions and working closely with colleagues on projects over the past 10 years, I have been able to expand my skill sets to a wide variety of engineering topics. BME encourages employees to develop skills in areas that interest them, allowing me to explore various computer aided design (CAD) software for use in design tasks. At some point I became a teacher to others, allowing me to pass along the skills and experience I acquired to the younger engineers. I certainly wouldn’t be the same engineer or person I am today without my coworkers, clients, and unique projects I’ve been involved with at BME for over the past decade.”
