Van Bortel Subaru

BME worked with Van Bortel Subaru and Mitchell Design Build to develop a 2-story 36,000 S.F. car dealership, service area and parts department building on 11 acres in the Town of Henrietta.  The site contained a regulated wetland and an intermittent stream, therefore permitting was required for the unavoidable fill of 0.23 acre of wetland and relocation of ±760 LF of ephemeral stream. A mitigation plan was successfully implemented for wetland disturbance channel relocation and continues to provide beneficial groundwater recharge, water purification, flood protection, wildlife habitat and conveyance of water and nutrients.
