RIT Innovative Maker and Learning Complex (IMLC)

The SHED, the Student Hall of Exploration and Development, is a 120,000-plus-square-foot multi-story facility at the center of the RIT campus, including a huge makerspace, a black-box theater, a dance studio, music rehearsal spaces as well as additional classroom and study spaces. This building will occupy an important site at the heart of the RIT campus and will feature a transparent façade that showcases activity. BME is part of the design and development team for this project which is slated for completion in fall 2023.
