One of Kim’s key roles is leading a wetland team that conducts wetland delineations, prepares wetland delineation reports, obtains jurisdictional determinations and wetland development permits from the NYSDEC and USACE. Her work includes advocating for our development clients and being their primary liaison with the NYSDEC and USACE to meet their environmental services needs. This work is crucial for identifying and protecting wetland areas, which are important for the preservation of natural habitats and the regulation of water resources.
“My commitment to BME is due to the team atmosphere, the trust BME management places in their employees and their endless support encouraging our team to seek training opportunities to pursue our personal goals, as well as foster career growth.”
Kim has extensive experience managing Municipal Stormwater Programs for multiple communities and handling stormwater construction permits in Central and Western NY. She actively collaborates with the Ontario-Wayne Stormwater Coalition (OWSV) and Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems (MS4s) to develop effective stormwater policies that ensure compliance and enhance water quality.
